The book was alright. I bought and read it because so many reviewers said she was funny. Some of her writing was witty. Some was repetitive. Much of it bored me. It does give the reader a really good perspective into what it's like to go through breast cancer and chemotheraphy.Product details

Super inspiring story! Bailey tells of her battle through breast cancer after thinking she would never have to deal with it. She uses humor to keep her story uplifting and encouraging to those battling breast cancer.
This journal of Melissa’s struggle and fight with breast cancer is one that puts the humanity back into the talk about cancer. She keeps her sense of humor even when she’s facing the toughest of times, and that just makes this story so much more inspirational. Seriously good read if you enjoy true stories about overcoming though times.
Wow! Dr. Bailey offers a unique take on battling breast cancer. I really enjoyed her sense of humor and was even inspired by it! Humor is a powerful medicine on its own, so I found it not only ironic but very appropriate for her to use it as a coping mechanism and as a way to share her story. I'm definitely going to share her book with my loved ones, who are battling other illnesses and disease. I'm sure their spirits will be lifted and that they'll gain a new perspective on how to FIGHT and weather the storm.
Pink Hell Breast Cancer Sucks has value as it portrays the internal and external struggle of managing breast cancer throughout the first year and beyond. However, it is essentially a blog put to print and that disappointed me. A book implies a cohesive story of a different nature. It may also be of benefit to put the text through one more round of proofing prior to publication. That being said, my heartfelt blessing for Dr. Bailey's continued recovery and kudos for her courage in sharing what is a deeply personal experience.

Can't put this book down! Dr. Bailey takes me from tears to laughter on her personal breast cancer journey. Her unique perspective makes me feel like I'm sitting in the waiting room going through each moment of her experiences along side of her. A must read for every woman! Thank you for sharing your story with us!
